Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s family is finally about to expand even further.  The actress, who is expecting twins, checked in to the Lenval Hospital in Nice, France on Tuesday, Nadine Bauer, a rep for the hospital, told Access Hollywood.  “Angelina is healthy” the hospital rep said of the expecting mom.  Bauer told Access she believes the actress arrived at the hospital about two days ago . Her admittance to the maternity wing of the hospital was a planned bed rest and not an emergency.  The 33-year-old actress is expected to stay in the hospital until she gives birth, according to the hospital rep.  As for the rest of the Pitt-Jolie clan, the rep believes Brad and family are at the hospital with Angelina.  The birth of the twins will bring the family’s total to eight, which also includes Maddox, 6; Pax, 4; Zahara, 3; and Shiloh, 2.

Britney Spears has received a bum rap with the press lately, but Grammy-winning producer Rodney Jerkins thinks he can help her turn that rap around.  Jerkins returned to the studio with Britney Spears for the first time in seven years to work on some “very dancey, really up-tempo, aggressive, catchy, and hook friendly” for Spears’ next album, he told Rap-Up TV in a recent interview.  “I’m trying some new things [with Spears]...I’ve always worked with Britney and I love working with her,” Jerkins said. “I’m trying to reinvent her and reinvent myself with her project.”  Jerkins, who will produce two tracks on the untitled record, last worked with the pop star on her self-titled “Britney” album, producing the remix for the track “Overprotected” and “I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll.”   Despite the pop star’s rocky year—including an ongoing custody battle with her ex-husband Kevin Federline and two hospitalizations—the producer stresses that one thing has remained the same about Spears: “She’s always professional.” He adds that while some artists take a long time to record a song, during a recent studio session, “[Britney] walked in at 8:30 and was out by 10:30.”  As far as Spears’ mindset, Jerkins says she’s “working on the positive side.”  Adds the producer: “It’s about to be her time again.”

On June 25, Rocco Ritchie happily romped in the grass at NYC's Central Park dressed in a New York Yankees baseball cap and shirt. Perhaps he got his outfit from his mom Madonna's friend, NY Yankee star Alex Rodriguez!  Amid rumors that her marriage to hubby Guy Ritchie is on the rocks, OK! has learned that the Material Girl has been spending a lot of time with the married A-Rod, finding solace in the handsome third baseman as her marriage to the british director fizzles.  One thing this pair has in common is their love of a good workout! Last October, Madonna and A-Rod were spotted working up a sweat at Reebok Sports Club NY in Manhattan. Months later, the sports hero attended the singer's charity Raising Malawi, where Madonna reportedly introduced him to her unimpressed 11-year old daughter Lourdes.  Then, in May, A-Rod attended the singer's show at NYC's Roseland Ballroom, and partied with her afterwards at The Box nightclub until early morning.
While nothing has been confirmed about the state of their marriage, one thing is undeniably clear--Madonna and hubby Guy have not been seen together in months. And although he did accompany his wife to Cannes, witnesses say his demeanor looked strained while Madonna seemed to be having the time of her life.
The couple is rumored to own multiple properties in London, NYC and the English countryside, but this past April, the singer bought a new $7 million apartment--directly upstairs from her current Upper West Side home--and purchased it in her maiden name, Madonna Ciccone!  While Rodriguez's rep had no comment about the nature of his relationship with Madonna, the singer's rep tells OK!, "They met briefly at a charity event and that's it." As for whether the singer and Guy Ritchie are headed for divorce court, her rep tells OK!, "No comment at this time is all I'm prepared to say now."

While Kevin Federline partied in Miami Beach this weekend, Britney Spears stayed at home...with the kids! E! News can confirm that Britney had a 12-hour overnight visit with her two sons Saturday night at her Los Angeles home. "The kids were picked up before noon on Sunday," says a source.  It was Britney's first overnight visit since Spears lost visitation with her kids following her infamous visit to the UCLA psych ward in January. Commissioner Scott Gordon, after being presented evidence that Britney's mental health has improved, modified the terms of her visitation last week to allow overnight visits. Meanwhile, K-Fed picked up where he left off in Las Vegas two weeks ago and partied at Miami nightclub Mansion on Friday night. Federline, who's reportedly working on a new song tentatively titled, "Daddy's Home," was scheduled to return home to LA on Sunday.

Ruslana Korshunova was a young supermodel from Kazakhstan living in New York. The gorgeous waif landed several magazine covers with her natural long locks and gorgeous green eyes. Sadly, the young up-and-comer is suspected to have taken her own life on Saturday. She reportedly leapt off the balcony of apartment in New York.  Ruslana Korshunova, 20, whose face graced the cover of French Elle and Russian Vogue, apparently jumped from her ninth-floor apartment in her Water Street building in the Financial District at 2:30 p.m. Ruslana was represented by the modeling agency IMG - The same agency that is responsible for Heidi Klum and Kate Moss. She walked the catwalk for Donna Karan, Nina Ricci and Marc Jacobs. She also appeared in ads for Vera Wang and Dior. Jill Stuart and Betsey Johnson were among many designers that employed the green-eyed girl when she was a mere 17 years old. British Vogue had also taken notice of the beauty in 2005 naming her “a face to be excited about.” Korshunova earned the nickname “The Russian Rapunzel” due to her fairytale-like looks.  Friends and family of Ruslana are baffled as to why she would take her own life. She “loved life” according to a close friend. Those who were close to her insist that she never has had a wild child streak or abused drugs. Currently the fatal fall is being ruled a suicide. The police found no evidence of a struggle and construction netting around the balcony appeared to be “deliberately ripped.” Her boyfriend had dropped her off at her one bedroom apartment around 5 in the morning after they finished watching the movie “Ghost.” Her loved ones are unconvinced that she jumped on her own.
